Charcoal Drawings
1983 Maf Räderscheidt started her huge format charcoal drawings. Quickly she was addicted to the endless possibilities of figuration she could realize in this technique. She used Siberian Chalk on Transparent paper – materials offering a velvety contrast from deep blacks to delicate lights. Here some examples from that time. Newer examples are found here
