Today in Euskirchen an exhibition opened of the class of disabled children I work with recently. And now everybody can see what a fantastic work they did. And you must have seen the faces – they were on cloud nine about the artwork they did! Daily Painting about heaven

Today I was in Belgium in a shop and the owner lead me in his backyard where he had a wonderful Arabian stud to sell. And this horse was so sensible, charming and tender that I instantly wanted to take it with me! What a dream to race against the wind on top of this animal! Such a pity I can’t even ride! Today you could see me in wild acrobatic wrenches preparing the studio window of my house as a little personal display. A hard job, because I had blocked the sight before. But now it’s done and I think it was worth the effort. If you are around, come and have a look! Daily Painting about decoration

Summit in Toronto. How comes that I don’t believe all these well sounding words? How comes I always have the feeling of watching a perfectly directed production of The United Politics Theater Company? The promises are rich, but the realisation is sparse. Daily Painting about summit

I’m not mad about football, but in each world cup Germany and England play against each other.and now it’s happening. I hate it. I can’t decide which team I support. But at least in the end I’m happy – my team wins. And for sure – I cry with the losers. Daily Painting about indecision

During the world cup it’s fashionable in Germany to decorate your car with the flag of your favourite country. When I work on my landscape painting project I always try to find a flag, but alas! a good landscape has no nationality. Daily Painting about flags

Do you remember, when we were young, the summer was warmer, the winter had more snow, the grass was greener and the rain was wetter. You do? Not me! I enjoy every second of today. But world was nice too, when I was young. Bigger. Daily Painting about memories

This is the time of the cherries. And this is not only a hint for ripe fruits but it’s also a song from the french revolution about the power you need going your own way and never giving up. And it is still one of my favourite places in Cologne too. Daily Painting about autonomy

Today was not so amusing. Three letters with three negative answers. A good moment to get depressive and to lose your courage. I transfered it in a Daily Painting and – oops, you see, there is a small light coming from above. Daily Painting about refusals

Midsummer Night. A good moment to look back upon the last months. But I’m still under the good spirit of all the birthday wishes you send from all over the world. So I dedicate this Daily Painting to the warmth and care I received yesterday and leave the retrospect to another instance
