This Art Blog and Daily Painting Project was since its start in March 2009 for me THE medium to make the language and -naturally- my paintings visible. I tried to be as honest as possible, with fun, with solace, especially for those who needed courage and hope. I talked about art, politics, animals, catastrophes, the weather, my victories and my defeats, my tears and my laughter. Each and every day at the same time, more than thousand paintings landed on my scanner in rage, sensuality, fun and passion and went out into the world. I tried to show how much power is in giving, dreaming, painting and scolding. Nearly three years my art had a voice, free from the dictate of the art market and its regulations. I thank all my followers, friends and companions. This group of works from my oeuvre is finished. Now off to new pastures!

Today the weather was so warm, I had the idea to have a nice walk with the dogs and drove up the hills near Belgium. And when I entered the wood, suddenly a huge grey cloud came and in minutes everything was windy and cold. Only very optimistic creatures try to promenade in sandals and blouse in November. Tonight is Halloween the owls call from the tower of the castle. People in dark costumes slip around the corners. Very scary. But, to be true, this night is so mild, warm, such a golden light, that you could think it was rather May Day than a night of the Ghosts. Daily Painting about Halloween
